The face of the transparency movement Julian Assange, who was being held in a London Prison on alleged rape charges stemming from Sweden, will soon be a free man. The judge set bond at $315,000 but Swedish prosecutors filed an appeal. Well the judge has rejected that appeal and since Assange already has the funds raised, will go free. The Wikileaks founder is at the center of a bureaucratic monsoon as his website leaked a quarter million classified documents exposing the ineptitude and corruption of foreign affairs. (Except Israel's as they paid him off) If Assange couldn't post the bail himself, he's got plenty of offers from supporters, including filmmaker Michael Moore who pledged $20,000. Upon his release, Asssange must surrender his passport and remain in the UK where he will likely stay with wealthy friend Vaughn Smith. The chances of him having an 'accident' when freed remain unlikely due to his insurance policy.
