Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will play tonight despite an ongoing thumb injury. Safety first. He first injured it November 27th against the Kings and has since worn tape around it. However he tweaked it again on December 4th in a win over the Rockets. If an examination determines surgery is required, he could miss a minimum of 8 weeks. Put down the sleeping pills Bulls fans, you still have Boozer. It's not like he has an injury histo-oh...continue.
New Jersey Nets guard Anthony Morrow will miss 2-3 weeks after injuring his hamstring during shootaround. Perhaps he should have stretched. Lakers castoffs Jordan Farmar and Sasha Vujacic are expected to step up in his absence. May God have mercy on your souls.
Washington Wizards forward Yi Jianlian will have an MRI on his injured knee. He suffered the injury while fouling Ron Artest early in last night's game against the Lakers and didn't return. Yi seems to have re-aggravated the knee that made him miss 9 games earlier in the season. If Washington wasn't so terrible, his presence would be missed.
