US Playing Solitaire

It has been reported that detained US Army private and Lady Gaga enthusiast Bradley Manning is "annoyed" with his punishment. Simply alleged to have leaked classified documents, Manning has not been charged with a crime but has been detained for the last few months in a tiny room with no access to exercise or even a pillow and bed sheets. The solitary confinement was described as "conditions that constitute cruel and inhumane treatment and, by the standards of many nations, even torture."

It's not torture. It's merely advanced timeout.

Besides this is post-patriot act America. If you want legal detainment and civil rights go to France socialist!

"We were aware of those situations and we were hoping that they would improve without applying public pressure through the media. His attorney and supporters were hoping that this could be taken care of through the appropriate channels." Jeff Paterson, who runs Manning's legal defense fund.

Who knew naiveté existed in law? Yeah the guy robbed me, but I was hoping he'd see the error of his ways and return my stuff so I didn't call the cops.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Split

America's favorite couple of physical perfection are getting a divorce. Bad week for celebrity couples as Zach Efron and Vanessa Hudgens also broke up. But it's a great week for deluded admirers.

Jan Brewer, Queen of Darkness

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer declined requests to hold a special session to reinstate medical transplant coverage, which for some was covered by the state until recently when the health care program expired.

The Arizona Republic reports:
Democratic legislators again called for Brewer to hold a special session or use discretionary federal stimulus funds to reinstate cuts for certain transplant coverage through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.

Brewer maintains her position that unless legislators provide a solution to what her office calls a $1 billion gap in funding for the Medicaid agency, she will not call a special session.

Brewer added, "I'm coming to get you, and your little dog too".

It's been alleged that she has instituted Death Panels and not the ones in the lunatic right wing fringe's minds. It was cleverly labeled Brewercare. God, smear campaigns are getting lazy. Now they're just recycling whatever nonsense got hurled at Obama whenever he proposed something. I believe rumors are even starting to circulate that Jan Brewer is a Muslim.

Keeping up with Christmas

No they did not recast Gossip Girls. This is the annual Kardashian Christmas card. It seems they took being called plastic as a personal challenge. If you notice the paleness of the child, it's because he refused to accept the hug from the nanny on behalf of his mother and was sent to bed without a spray tan.
