Whistle Blown on Wikileaks' Back-room Deals

Things were going so well for Julian Assange.
Yes he was America's most wanted, yes he was forced to reenact a Jason Bourne movie with name changes and constant motion, and yes he was labeled a treasonous terrorist; but he was winning. The Wikileaks founder was riding a wave of anti-establishment vitriol as he was elevated to Messiah of the freedom and transparency movement, while simultaneously becoming a Bond villain to those against such concepts.
Everything isn't as it seems.
Cliché? Of course, but still true. Assange's positive momentum may apparently have peaked with his recent arrest for an alleged rape. Before going into custody, Assange's lawers revealed they possess a trump card to ensure Assange's safey. It's in a 1.5 gigabyte file called insurance.aes256 and is believed to contain everything Wikileaks has obtained including unredacted files on Bank of America and BP. The encrypted file, which cannot be cracked without the key, has been distributed to hackers and supporters around the world and will be leaked to the internet in the event Assange has a mysterious accident or goes to trial.
It's all down hill from here.
According to this Arabic journalism site, Julian Assange prior to the Diplomatic Cable leaks was paid off by Israel to not include anything that would make them look bad, which would explain for instance the total blank about Israel's attacks on Gaza and Lebannon in 2006-2008-9. The signs were there as Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a press conference that Israel had “worked in advance” to limit any damage from leaks, adding that “no classified Israeli material was exposed by WikiLeaks.” If you recall, it was around that time Assange praised the prime minister in an interview with Time for being a "hero of openness" and "transparency." Since this was said without a hint of irony it would seem that we can confirm there was indeed a reach around. To make matters worse, former WikiLeaks spokesperson Daniel Domscheit-Berg said he and other WikiLeaks dissidents are planning to launch their own whistleblowers' platform to fulfil WikiLeaks's original aim of “limitless file sharing," in light of Assange apparently making deals with media outlets to ensure an explosive story and withholding information that would be beneficial to know on a local level, all without consulting anybody else in the organisation. Daniel Domscheit-Berg will be detailing his accounts on the events inside Wikileaks in his new book.
I sincerely hope it hasn't come to this. I would hate to see a golden opportunity to topple government corruption and to finally make the common people cognizant of the cesspool they reside in ruined by greed and lust for the spotlight. This isn't about plugging books or having the biggest story or being a celebrity. It's about stopping tyranny and preventing the government from hiding it's machinations from the people it was put in place to protect. Gil Scot Heron was correct in saying the revolution won't be televised:
It's in gigabytes.
But it seems that like the great revolutionaries such as Huey Newton and Marcus Garvey, this generation also faces a seemingly insurmountable obstacle that may be on par with white supremacy. We are crippled by narcissism. The disease of self-interest and the pathological need to make your own life into something worthy of having Aaron Sorkin turn it into a screenplay. I hope for our sake, that somebody with the access to this information has managed to hold on to their integrity. Otherwise guys like Assange are no better than the corrupt establishments they're attempting to subvert.
