Quid Pro No
The Senate voted to end the 17 year policy of "Don't ask, Don't tell" (a policy Clinton could have benefited from) with a 65-31 vote. Though don't be fooled into thinking this was a sudden display of intelligence or compassion. It was all politics. Democrats cut taxes on the rich, thus further burying the country in debt, and in exchange the Republicans support something that they were for anyway. Even in the case of a radical homophobic Senator, their wet dream would be gays signing up to get road-side bombed. The GOP one upped the Democrats once again as our politicians show that self-interest trumps honor.

From Bailout to Bonuses
The 6 largest banks in America are slated to give out $143 billion this year in bonuses and compensation. And who could blame them? After illegally amassing absurd personal fortunes at the expense of the economy and their own companies brought both to the brink of total collapse, they not only escaped without penalty, their companies were saved by a government blank check financed by the taxpayers they screwed, and they were furthermore allowed to go about business as usual. That is damn impressive work and I hope they die horribly.
Wikileaks to Strike Again
Speaking of Banks, one has just been backhanded by the whistle blower juggernaut Wikileaks. After Bank of America became the latest company to sever ties with Asssange, Wikileaks warned everyone via Twitter that if they have an account with Bank of America, it'd be in their best interest to reconsider. In 2009 Assange said he'd obtained a 5GB hard drive from a Bank of America employee and has stated that there will be a leak next year involving at least one major American Bank. One guess as to which bank.

The Kardashian's Christmas Card that I made fun of Wednesday was ridiculous enough to get them parodied by SNL.
