Zadroga Bill Passed: 9/11 Responders to recieve Healthcare

While everybody was celebrating the passing of the START treaty, the Senate delivered an early Christmas present to the long neglected 9/11 responders; the brave rescue workers who suffered longterm health problems from breathing in the toxic air at ground zero as they pulled people from the rubble. The legislative piñata seems to have been emptied with the christmas break looming and the lame duck session running out. START, DADT, and now the Zadroga bill with Immigration reform on the horizon. Something tells me we won't be having this much progress until 2012. If only we could threaten these politician's jobs all year round...oh wait we CAN, keep their feet to the fire!
